Trading TRUE Gaps
Gap and Crap or a Gap and Go?
This video will serve as part of a series I am putting together which is intended to be a bit of a “starter kit” for new subscribers. There will be a ton of trading knowledge shared in the starter kit both for free subscribers and paid subscribers.
What is a “true gap?”
A true gap occurs when the day is opening entirely outside the range of the prior day. In the instance up a true gap up, this means that the 09:30 EST open is above the prior day high. A true gap down means the 09:30 open is below the prior day low.
Playing true gaps can be tricky. Any time we get a true gap; the following general rules will apply. We have had the “rules” for a true gap posted in the Discord and I felt that many would benefit from having a readily available video as well.
