Todays action was rather wild on SPY 0.00%↑ as we saw a look above and fail of 5885 overnight trigger weakness into the open and SMCI 0.00%↑ news right before the open. This drove price through our major weekly pivot of 5857-5862. This, however, was a trap as the 43-45 spot for today held and trigger yet another reclaim of 57-62 just like yesterday. For a second time sellers did not defend 57-62 from below. Price rallied right back to 5885 for yet another look above and fail. This took us right back to 57-62 where there was quite a battle into the close. Sellers really wanted (and got) a close below it. The prior two trips down here were epic failures from sellers. Perhaps the third time works. Earnings were mixed again today with initially) a slightly bearish response and a failure of 57-62 from below. This is the opportunity for sellers to prove themselves.
