I was a bit surprised today by the overnight action as I expected that today might be more two-way trading but Asia had a clear direction in mind. Outside of one meaningful dip the session traded almost entirely above Friday’s VAH. We opened on a small true gap up relative to Friday’s range and couldn’t even find offers below the open. From there ES essentially walked up our levels with higher highs and higher lows. There was no reason to be looking for shorts today.
