For the start of this week, 6714-6718 was the major area of interest. We saw some weakness below there overnight but once the cash session opened, ES traded only a single tick below its open. This was a great example of the importance of monitoring the 5-minute opening range (see the starter kit). 6714-6718 was reclaimed with conviction, held from above, and the trend day was on. ES ended up leaving behind five sets of single prints in what was some pretty emotional buying. This gives us quite a bit to work with tomorrow as active trend continues.
