It was incredibly important to remain nimble last week as it was the biggest week of the quarter in terms of catalysts. Maintaining a consistent bias was likely very difficult with all the back and forth. We maintained a neutral bias, cognizant of the fact that bulls had been in full control but with numerous reasons to find resistance where we did. The back and forth can be absolutely amazing for day (and even swing) traders that are willing to be selective and able to react quickly. We find ourselves in a similar situation ahead of Monday with amazing potential trades on both sides of the tape. My plan is to day trade both ways while waiting for a perfect setup for a swing trade.
