Today opened on a true gap, both ES and NQ traded precisely 1 tick below their open, and another trend day was on. ES is within spitting distance of all-time highs after quite possibly the most vicious V-shaped rally I ever recall. Expecting an all-time high retest after a 10% correction is of course fully reasonable, but doing so without a daily higher low of any kind is pretty spectacular. Structure at the tail end of this move has become pretty poor, but no meaningful pullback will take place until certain criteria are met.
