An Evolving Service - "The Day Trades are the Dividend
My goal with this service has always been to deliver outsized value relative to the competition. You have many choices of some great newsletters to subscribe to, and I’m honored that you are, or have considered subscribing to mine.
I’ve said from early on that the day trades are the dividend. I am very selective with my investments and swing trades. I take very few losses with these (and they are very small), and the winners are absolutely enormous. I don’t “knowledge-gate” and therefore there is a tremendous amount of passive learning that can come from reading the newsletters and reading my commentary and the answers I provide in the Discord. This is the true value proposition for the service. The index day trades are indeed the dividend. It gives me an opportunity to provide value nearly every day.
Just two quick examples and then a mea culpa. These are just two examples of traders who don’t even trade futures but have learned my methodology and successfully applied it to their own trading.
That said, I have failed some of my subscribers by not creating a format that lends well to their success if they are not able to day trade. I own this, and I am taking steps to remedy this. I have created a separate channel in the Discord that is dedicated to investments, swing trades and big day trades that have the potential to turn into swings. These have previously gotten buried within the intraday commentary. This way members who work or are otherwise unable to day trade can turn off notifications for the day trade commentary and leave notifications on for this separate room.
We will be doing much more of these swings in the coming months as the service continues to expand.
At launch, I had committed to a post “most days.” There were no specific trade setups, there was no discord, and it was limited to ES commentary. We later added substack chat, the moved to Discord, then expanded the Discord. We have taken trades (and made investments) in individual equities and ETFs, cryptocurrencies, and other futures products. This has been and will continue to increase.

Investments:
The entry was $76.8 with a stop below $75.31. Low of week was $75.99 and ENPH ripped to nearly $140 in a straight line. I took out all of my cost basis plus profits on the way up and have a small free piece remaining that I don’t bother to look at. See Here for the full post LINK
The investment entry on DIS was in the $79.1-$79.6 range. Price returned to the entry 3 weeks later, put in a low of $79.23, and exploded to the $120s. Like ENPH I had taken out my basis and some profits on the way up and now have a piece remaining which I don’t bother to look at. See the post here: LINK
On February 21 I posted that my “Boomer” portfolios were picking up MO at $40.33. I actually later added on the failed breakdown, after which MO has gone on an absolute tear along with dividend raise being announced.
Swing Trades:
You’re probably well aware of the recent big short on the index from the 5600s and covering the 5120s so I’ll gloss over that one.
This one was actually done as a free video and then two separate entry options were posted on X and in the Discord. The entry took effectively no drawn down and AMD ripped from the low 160s to 187 in a straight line. See the video here AMD Trade Idea
We have traded Crude twice recently for very large moves. The most recent was this week in the new room. Entry was 71.69. The low of day was 71.60 and it ripped to 75 in a day.
We have also traded Bitcoin twice recently. The first took $38 adverse exposure (drawdown) and ran for 13K. The last profit take posted before it turned over and trailing stops were hit was at 12.2k. This recent trade we entered in the high 56k range (56.8K).
It took zero adverse exposure (never traded below our entry) and has so far moved 8K in our favor where we have taken some profit.
Everyone who is currently a paid subscriber (and remains a paid subscriber) is locked in at the rate at which they subscribed. It will never increase (inflation be damned). I launched this newsletter on October 1, 2023. Since then, the price (to new subscribers) has been increased as the service has expanded, as was disclosed from the beginning. There will be an announcement to that effect in the coming days. We are two price increases away from our year end target. If you’ve followed me for any length of time you know what that price target is. It also means we are in for some exciting expansions of the service in the next few months.
